The XBox 360 Messenger Kit or CHATPAD does not have any windows drivers made by Mmicrosoft.
So I decided to use my "Search-Fu"
I found something that might work. I haven't tried it yet, I need a chatpad first, but here is a project for the chatpad under windows. http://code.google.com/p/chatpad-super-driver/
It was a contest on a forum, and a user really stepped it up apparently.

If you are able to get this to work in game, pass the word on!! This could make the chatting a little easier.

These drivers work wonderfully. I installed them in my computer and they work great in the game. The only downside so far is that they only work with wired controllers, but thats a small price to pay for using the chatpad in game.

I am sooo glad you find them useful! I don't have a chatpad yet, plan on getting one soon tho :)
I ran across the drivers when Closed Beta was going on.
The launch of the game was a bit spotty at times but all in all the game is great. I am having a great time. Keep watching this blog, I have some great info that I will be posting.
